Introduction
The miracle itself

- This was an actual miracle, not just a dubious sighting. One of the witnesses even participated in the miracle!
- Jesus is worthy of our worship.
- Matthew 2:11; 28:9 – Jesus was worshiped from the beginning to the end of His life.
- Matthew 27:50-54 – Jesus is the Son of God!

The need to grow
- Mark 6:45-52 – The disciples were astonished but had not learned from the miraculous feeding of the five thousand.
- John 6:12-15 – They still misunderstood the nature of the kingdom.

- The Bible shows us how inadequate we are. This should motivate us to do better!

- We need to grow!
The priority of prayer
- Mark 6:32-34, 42, 44-46 – Jesus sent them away so He could pray.
- Do I make prayer a priority like Jesus did?
- Romans 12:12
- Is what you are doing more important than what Jesus was doing?
- Matthew 6:7-9
- Don’t try to justify your lack of prayer with some bad excuse!
