  • I Corinthians 3:13-14 – Here, “each man’s work” is referring to how each man builds his faith (see I Corinthians 3:10). The day when fire tests each man’s work is the Day of Judgment (John 12:48). See also I Corinthians 9:1.
  • I Corinthians 3:15 – If a person helps to teach someone else but that one falls away from the faith, the teacher will suffer from that loss but will still be saved in the end.
  • I Corinthians 3:10 – When a building is built, the building is not named after the man who poured the foundation. Just so, we are not called after the name of the person who taught us. We are Christians.
