- Lesson 5: Ministers
- The Bible uses the word to mean someone who serves.
- People in the Bible described as ministers:
- Tabitha: Acts 9:36-43
- She did many deeds of charity and kindness. We should do the same!
- Onesiphorus: II Timothy 1:15-18
- He often refreshed Paul and was not ashamed of Paul’s imprisonment. We should be eager to help those doing God’s word.
- Epaphras: Colossians 1:1-8; 4:12-13; Philemon 1:23-24
- He was a faithful servant of God alongside Paul.
- Tychicus: Ephesians 6:21-22; Colossians 4:7-9
- He was a faithful servant and an encourager.
- Timothy: I Thessalonians 3:1-2; I Timothy 4:6-7
- He was a worker in the gospel.
- Paul: Acts 26:9-18; Colossians 1:23-26; Romans 15:14-16; Ephesians 3:1-7
- He was a minister and a witness of the things God revealed to him. We should carry the Word of God to others like Paul did.
- Tabitha: Acts 9:36-43
