Galatians 5:22-26 – Fruit of the Spirit

- Longsuffering – God is patient with us, therefore we should be patient.

Galatians 6
- Galatians 6:1-2 – Those caught up in sin should be treated gently, like we would want to be treated.
- Galatians 6:3-6 – We must each examine our own work.
- Galatians 6:7-9 – We must sow spiritual things to reap spiritual rewards.
- Galatians 6:10 – This is talking about individual responsibility – not general benevolence. There are other passages that address benevolence.
- Galatians 6:11-13
- Galatians 6:14-15 – We must crucify the works of the world in ourselves.
- Galatians 6:16-18 – The “Israel of God” is the church. Paul bore the marks of his suffering for Christ.
