• Luke 16:13-17:10
  • Luke 16:17 – Jesus didn’t annihilate the Old Law. He fulfilled it.
  • Luke 16:18 – See Matthew 19:6.
  • Luke 16:19-31 – When the righteous dies, he goes to heaven. We don’t read of any intermediate place. When the evil man dies, he goes to hell. Again, no intermediate place is written about in the Bible.
  • Luke 17:6 – Jesus was speaking to the apostles here. Jesus was not promising that all believers would have these miraculous abilities.
