  - This can expose the error of false doctrines
    - Acts 2:38 – “for” (eis) points backward – not forward. Baptism brings about the forgiveness of sins, not the other way around.
    - “psallo” does not imply authority for musical instruments. By the time of the New Testament, it simply meant to sing, as it is consistently translated in modern reliable translations. The context in which the word is used also confirms this. Romans 15:9; I Corinthians 14:15; Ephesians 5:19; James 5:13
