• I Peter 1:10-25
  • I Peter 1:18-19 – We are redeemed by the precious blood of Christ. Without the shedding of that blood, there is no remission of sins (Hebrews 12:22). God planned for this before the foundation of the world.
  • I Peter 1:24-25 – Peter is quoting Isaiah here to illustrate the difference between the temporal and the eternal. The emphasis is on the word of God, which endures forever. When you have access to the word of God, don’t let yourself be drawn away by things that are merely temporal.
