- The five points of Calvinism all depend on each other. They stand or fall together.
- Irresistible grace: the belief that when God chooses someone to be saved, they cannot help but to come to Christ.
- It is not a question of whether the Holy Spirit leads man to salvation, but how He does it.

- Cleansing (John 17:17) and sanctification by the Word (I Corinthians 6:11)
- Convicts man of sin by the Word (Titus 1:9)
- Salvation by the Word (Titus 3:5)

- Indwells the Christian by the Word (Ephesians 3:17; Romans 10:17; Colossians 3:16)
- II Timothy 1:14
- Revelation 2:13; II John 2:2
- Romans 1:16 – The gospel is God’s power to save.
- The doctrine of irresistible grace falls because it is built on a faulty foundation and because it undermines the power of the gospel for salvation.
- Acts 7:51; Hebrews 10:29-31 – Both these verses show the doctrine to be false.
