- But we should remember
- Our love for others should be unmistakeable – Matthew 22:37-40
- The gospel is for all – Matthew 11:2-5; 9:11-13; James 2:1-9

- “The worship seemed so stiff and formal.”
- Truths we acknowledge
- God never called for emotionalism
- All things must be done properly and in an orderly manner
- But we should remember
- We need to ignite some sincere emotion! - Malachi 2:1-2; Revelation 2:1-5
- Truths we acknowledge
- “The speaker sounded pretty narrow-minded.”
- Truths we acknowledge
- Jesus was “narrow-minded” in the sense that He would only teach the truth – Matthew 19:9-10; John 6:66
- We can’t compromise truth
- “Narrow-minded” could be said about virtually everyone
- But we should remember
- We should make it clear that we’re simply trying to understand and apply God’s law – I Corinthians 9:26-27; I Thessalonians 2:13
- We must speak the truth in love – Ephesians 4:15; II Corinthians 2:4; 6:11; 7:2; 11:11; 12:14-15
