    • Genesis 50 - Israel grows as a nation in slavery to Egypt, and is then delivered from slavery by God.
    • Leadership transfers from Moses to Joshua and then a series of judges.
    • Israel requests a king and God gives them Saul.
    • After Solomon, Israel splits into Israel and Judah.
      • II Kings 17:5.
      • Judah has a few good kings, but eventually goes into Babylonian captivity in 586 B.C.
    • Israel is finally released from captivity and a remnant returns to restore Jerusalem. Nehemiah 9:1
    • It is important to follow God’s law!
    • God shows us the need that mankind had for a system of salvation. The stage is set for the fulfillment of the third promise.
