  • We cannot afford to try to wait until the end of our life to serve God. We should not try to pre-plan repentance.
  • Luke 16:18 - Marriage is not always approved of by God.

    • The Israelites found out what they should be doing by simply reading scripture.

    • Reading God’s word

    • Repentance
  • Nehemiah corrects more sin:
    • Nehemiah 13:1-3 - exclusion of foreigners
    • Nehemiah 13:4-9 - Tobiah kicked out of his room
    • Nehemiah 13:10-14 - tithes restored for support of Levites
    • Nehemiah 13:15-22 - rest on Sabbath restored
    • Nehemiah 13:23-31 - Nehemiah discovers and corrects another problem with intermarriage
