  • When a member insists upon having company with those who have been refused, what action is the local church to take?
    • Must admonish and admonish them (Titus 3:10).
    • If one still insists on having company with them, he too is walking disorderly; he is to be disciplined.
    • In the Old Testament, God also punished the ones who sympathized with the discord sowers (Numbers 16:41-49).
  • Conclusion: One cannot please the Lord if he refuses (or fails) to work with a local church in his locality. Let us be diligent servants of the Lord that we glorify God by doing individually that which He has thus assigned and doing in the local church that which He has thus assigned.
