  • II Corinthians 11:4 – The Corinthians were happy to follow false teachers, but were not inclined to listen to Paul (see II Corinthians 11:1).

  • II Corinthians 10:1-18
  • II Corinthians 10:3-4 – Compare Titus 2:15.
  • II Corinthians 10:5 – Compare Colossians 3:16-17.
  • II Corinthians 10:8-9 – In order to plant spiritual seed, you have to first root out the weeds and stumps. Some don’t like “negative” preaching, but it is often necessary in order to prepare for “positive” preaching.
  • II Corinthians 10:12 – The standard is the word of God – not other people. Christians are not to compare themselves even with other Christians because our standard is higher than that.
