  • Luke 20:19-21:36
  • Luke 20:36 – Jesus’ reasoning is interesting here. He says there is no marriage after the resurrection because there is no death. Marriage is a covenant limited by death, so if there is no death, there can be no marriage.
  • Luke 21:7-21:36 – Jesus is prophesying about the destruction of the temple in Jerusalem in AD 70 (Luke 21:32, 20, 34).
