The tabernacle / temple
- Exodus 25; 40:33-38 – God’s glory filled the tabernacle.
- I Kings 8:12-14 – Solomon set up the temple.
- I Kings 9:3-9 – God’s warning if they stray.
- I Corinthians 3:16-17 – We are now a temple of God.
- II Corinthians 6:14-18
- Hebrews 8:1-2; 9:11-12, 24 – We have a much greater blessing today in Jesus’ sacrifice.
Forty years of wandering
- Numbers 13; 14:32-33, 39 – The people refused to receive God’s gift. They did not have faith.
- Hebrews 3:1-6 – We are the house of God if we hold our confidence.
- Hebrews 3:7-4:11 – This is a warning! Don’t do what they did! Don’t fall away! The people of God will receive a rest in heaven if we maintain our faith.
The promised land
- Joshua 1:5-9 – Joshua was told to be strong and courageous. Repeatedly!
- Joshua 1:11 – God was telling them how the story would end right from the beginning.

- I Peter 5:10-11 – This is how our story ends if we keep faith. Knowing this should change how we live today.
