  • The most important question ever asked: “What must I do to be saved?”
  • Acts 16:22-33 – The jailer did not know anything about salvation, but once he was taught (Romans 10:17), he knew he needed to repent and be baptized.
  • Acts 2:36-38 – These people had believed in God all their lives, but they had not yet obeyed Jesus. Believing in God was not enough.
    • Acts 2:20-21 – Joel prophesied that people would need to call on the name of the Lord to be saved. This involved repenting and being baptized.
  • Acts 22:6-16 – When Saul came to understand that Jesus was the Messiah, he still had to find out what to do to be saved.
    • Acts 22:16 – Calling on the name of the Lord involved being baptized!
  • Matthew 7:21 – Believing in Jesus is not enough!
  • Romans 6:12-13 – We must use our bodies as instruments of righteousness until God.
  • What must I do to remain saved?
    • Philippians 3:13-14
    • Always press on toward the goal!
